Qualifications

• Current registered professional nurse licensure in New York State.
• Basic Life Support certification by the American Heart Association.
• Master's degree in nursing.
• At least three years of pertinent clinical practice.
• Certification in nursing leadership upon eligibility.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical leadership and management of a designated care area on a 24-hour basis.
• Collaborates with inter-professional teams to ensure quality and patient experience.
• Fosters a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion and staff engagement.
• Leads staff development, performance evaluation and succession planning.
• Coordinates care delivery using staffing data and budget considerations.
• Maintains compliance with accreditation, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.
