The candidate holds a Florida RN license (or NLC), BLS, and 2+ years of acute RN experience, with BSN required and MSN/dual degrees preferred. Leadership and collaboration are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• BSN required if no MSN; MSN/DNP or BSN with grad degree preferred.
• Current RN license in Florida or NLC; BLS certification required; advanced life support certifications may be required.
• Two years RN experience in an acute setting.

Responsibilities

• Shared 24/7 accountability with Nursing Operations Manager.
• Coordinate recruitment and selection for unit staff.
• Manage staffing schedules to ensure appropriate patient care.
• Monitor patient flow and outcomes; lead quality initiatives.
• Perform Nurse Leader rounds and ensure adherence to standards.
• Maintain customer experience and service recovery when needed.
• Interface with patients/families to coordinate care and education.
• Ensure compliance with policies and confidential handling of staff data.
