Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to support the Nurse Manager in leading a team of care providers and sustaining a patient-focused care model.

The ANM will plan, organize, direct, and evaluate patient care operations for a designated area on a 24-hour basis, and coach staff while collaborating with other departments to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor-level nursing degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating patient care operations 24/7.
• Coach and evaluate nursing staff and ensure adherence to nursing practice standards.
