Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to support the Nurse Manager in leading a team to deliver high-quality patient care on a 24-hour basis.

You will help plan, organize, direct and evaluate operations, mentor staff, and collaborate with other departments to improve outcomes while maintaining a positive work environment and adherence to the Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN or related field preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• 2–3 years clinical patient care experience.
• Certification in nursing administration or related area, or timeline to achieve.
• Proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating patient care operations.
• Support Nurse Manager and coach staff in designated area.
