Job summary

University of California, Irvine's Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing is seeking a mid-level program administrator to manage the NURSE-OC externships and residencies in Orange County under the grant PI. You will coordinate curriculum development, student placements, and project meetings, with autonomy and strong communication.

The role requires analytic budgeting skills and the ability to handle multiple projects with faculty, staff, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience.
• Two years of progressive administrative or program coordination experience.
• Experience coordinating graduate medical education, nursing education, residency, or academic programs.
• Experience working in an academic health center, School of Nursing, or healthcare organization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate curriculum development and student placements for the NURSE-OC program.
• Manage commitment agreements, run regular program meetings, and provide status updates.
• Coordinate schedules and liaise with faculty, staff, and community partners.
• Apply advanced operational concepts to resolve highly complex issues.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of new programs and processes.
