Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Nurse Navigator for a per diem Heart program in Camden, NJ. The role coordinates an integrated cardiology program and supports patients through the heart-disease evaluation process.

5 years of cardiovascular or CT surgery experience and an accredited RN program are required; BSN preferred. Located in Camden, NJ with day shift responsibilities and per diem scheduling. The pay range is disclosed in NJ law and varies by experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• BSN preferred.
• 5 years Cardiovascular or CT Surgery experience in a clinical setting.
• Working knowledge of TAVR, COAPT, WATCHMAN and LARIAT evaluation process including inclusion/exclusion criteria, risk assessment, protocol details.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the operations of an integrated cardiology program including research protocols and commercially available therapies.
• Guide the patient through the appropriate channels in collaboration with MDs, staff and other departments.
• Coordinate multiple patients through different stages of heart disease evaluation.
