Job summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a nurse coordinator to manage the operations of an integrated cardiology program, including research protocols and therapy coordination. The role requires extensive cardiovascular clinical experience and coordination across departments under physician oversight.

The candidate should have RN licensure with BSN preferred and strong interpersonal skills to guide patients through the evaluation process, with knowledge of TAVR/COAPT/WATCHMAN/LARIAT procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program. BSN preferred.
• 5 years CV or CT Surgery experience in a clinical setting.
• Good interpersonal skills to work with multiple internal departments, MDs, staff and patients.
• Understanding of TAVR, COAPT, WATCHMAN and LARIAT evaluation processes including inclusion/exclusion criteria, risk assessment and protocol details.
• Ability to coordinate multiple patients in various stages of heart disease evaluation.
• Ability to review data from testing modalities and report abnormalities.
