Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Olympia, WA is seeking a Nurse Navigator RN to join the Cancer Institute. This full-time role blends nursing, case management, and patient liaison duties within a hybrid care model across our health system.

You will oversee clinical, quality and cost-effective outcomes for our cancer patient population, coordinating care, supporting families, and collaborating with the care team to improve patient experience and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; advanced degree preferred.
• Current RN license in Washington State or MLS endorsement.
• 3–5 years of recent clinical experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Apply critical thinking to decisions about patient care using standards and data.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Foster learning for patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
• Track quality metrics using national benchmarks where applicable.
• Lead initiatives to improve processes and outcomes aligned with Quadruple Aim.
• Address non-clinical barriers by connecting patients with community services.
