Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS) is seeking a registered nurse to provide clinical support to the inpatient nursing staff, focusing on discharge planning and care coordination at Summerlin Hospital. Graduate from an accredited nursing program with Nevada RN license; BLS and ACLS are required.

Two years of acute care experience is expected; experience with stroke or chest pain programs is preferred. A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; completion of a specialty course and/or equivalent.
• Two years acute care experience; stroke/chest pain program experience preferred.
• Current Nevada RN license; BLS and ACLS certifications; waiver possible for training.
