Job summary

The Valley Health System in Las Vegas is seeking an RN to provide clinical support to inpatient nursing staff regarding discharge planning and process at Summerlin Hospital, a busy 496-bed facility with a wide range of services.

Candidates should hold an active Nevada RN license, have at least two years of acute care experience (stroke/chest pain program experience preferred), and demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and care coordination skills to optimize patient transitions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with RN licensure in NV.
• Two years of acute care experience required; stroke/chest pain program experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current or within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical discharge planning support to inpatient nursing staff.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure safe, timely, and efficient patient discharges.
