Qualifications

• Education: Working-level English; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Experience: 3 years acute care nursing preferred in area of specialization.
• License: Nevada RN license required at time of hire.
• Certifications: BLS by AHA required at time of hire.
• Certifications: ACLS by AHA required at time of hire.
• Certifications: Advanced cardiac certification preferred within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and provide education to patients and families.
• Assist department leadership with program development and education.
• Coordinate care leading up to treatment and participate in discharge planning and telehealth when needed.
• Facilitate referrals to appropriate specialists using clinical protocols.
• Develop and evaluate specialty service educational activities and programs.
