Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a registered nurse for a Minimally Invasive Progressive Care Unit (PCU) role that handles post-operative and intermediate care patients, including bariatric and other minimally invasive procedures.

The nurse will perform assessments, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced surgical/progressive care environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years of experience.

• Providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participating in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors.

Join a dynamic 28-bed Minimally Invasive Progressive Care Unit (PCU) providing specialized care for post-operative and intermediate care patients, including bariatric, hernia, mastectomy, and other minimally invasive procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration
• Participating in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors

Qualifications:

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN license required)
