Full-Time Nurse Midwife Wanted - Director, Centering Pregnancy Program

LifeBridge Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Midwife for the Director of the Centering Pregnancy Program to join our LBHMG team.

LifeBridge Health is a $2B healthcare system with 13,000 team members, providing over 2.5 million patient encounters annually across Maryland. Our system includes 5 hospitals: Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, and Grace Medical Center. Our LifeBridge Health Medical Group (LBHMG) practices are located in Baltimore and surrounding counties, offering primary and specialty care services.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Nurse Midwife capable of managing their own patients, with 5-7 years of experience preferred.

This position is based onsite at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore City.

Centering Pregnancy Program Responsibilities

The program manager will oversee project management and ensure key functions are delegated and maintained, including:

• Scheduling and coordinating Centering groups
• Maintaining topic schedules and curriculum
• Supporting Advanced Practice Nurses conducting groups
• Recruitment and screening of participants
• Monitoring class census for adequacy
• Training facilitators and coordinating guest speakers
• Collaborating with the Residency Program Director for resident participation

Additional duties include:

• Maintaining regular Steering Committee meetings
• Updating tools like CenteringWorks to support the program
• Documenting meetings within five days
• Maintaining site license per agreement with Centering Healthcare Institute (CHI)
• Providing updates to CHI advisors
• Reporting quarterly data to the Centering Healthcare Institute, including de-identified and aggregated information such as birth outcomes, breastfeeding rates, and delivery details
• Addressing office and quality issues to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement
