Shady Grove Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for the Transfer Center. The role involves leading patient transfer operations, upholding nursing standards, and driving continuous improvement within the department. The position requires a BSN, RN license in Maryland, and leadership experience.

Master’s degree preferred; BLS certification required. Typical schedule is 7a-7:30p, including some evenings, with no weekend shifts.

Qualificações

• Baccalaureate Degree in nursing is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Three years of work experience in the department-specific area (Med/Surg or Critical Care preferred).
• Current Maryland State nursing license is required.
• Certification in leadership within 1 year of eligibility is expected.
• Participation in professional organizations is encouraged.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Role-model positive customer service behaviors.
• Encourage professional practice and nursing autonomy within the department.
• Operationalize the department's strategic plan and monitor staff performance.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks for service recovery and adverse events.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and shared governance.
• Monitor resources for safe patient care delivery including labor and equipment.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
