Job summary

Montefiore Einstein is seeking an Associate Administrative Nurse Manager MSHP to lead the School Health Primary Care nursing unit in the Bronx. This role directs day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff mentorship.

Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making are essential as you coordinate with the Director of Nursing and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN or higher preferred.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience required (4–6 years preferred).
• New York State RN license is required.
• BLS certification, Infection Control Certification are required.
• DOE background check and fingerprint clearance as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the School Health Program nursing units.
• Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and coach staff; support learning and professional development.
• Manage human resources tasks including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and apply research findings to nursing practice.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver patient-centered care tailored to pediatric/adolescent populations.
