Select Specialty Hospital Orlando Central is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager (RN) to oversee designated nursing units around the clock. You will guide staffing, clinical operations, and collaboration with medical staff to uphold high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure, 3+ years of leadership in clinical settings, and 1 year of management experience, with BLS now and ACLS within 6 months. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifikationen

• Requires RN licensure.
• At least 3 years of clinical practice with leadership.
• 1 year of previous management experience.
• BLS certification by start date.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Maintain efficient functioning of designated nursing units on a 24-hour basis.
• Assess patient care needs and coordinate nursing staff assignments to meet outcomes.
• Coordinate schedules for nursing staff in the area of responsibility.
• Establish and maintain communication with medical staff and other departments.
• Participate in budget formulation and cost containment for areas of responsibility.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment and supplies.
• Assess need for and assist in staff education and clinical development.
• Assume all administrative responsibilities on the unit on designated shifts.
• Supervise nursing care quality and provide staff evaluations as scheduled.
