Job summary

Avantara Watertown is seeking a Nurse Manager RN or LPN with prior management responsibilities to lead the nursing unit in our long-term care facility.

You will supervise clinical staff, provide guidance and education, uphold infection prevention practices, and ensure adequate staffing to deliver high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered SD RN or LPN license
• CPR Certification
• 3 years of nurse experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility (preferred)
• Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of all clinical staff on the assigned unit
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff
• Assist with infection prevention practices and staffing for resident needs
• Help instill a positive and inclusive facility culture
