Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered State of South Dakota RN or LPN license.
• CPR Certification is mandatory.
• At least three years' experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility preferred.
• Prior management experience in a nursing department is needed.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As an Unit Manager, you are instrumental in managing all of the operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Watertown by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident's needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.
