MaineGeneral is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager (RN) to lead the Gray Birch Skilled Rehabilitation & Long-Term Care nursing team. This full-time day-shift role oversees clinical operations, staff development, and patient-centered care delivery within a collaborative, regulation-driven environment.

You will manage scheduling, budgeting, quality outcomes, and vendor relations while ensuring compliance with long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Maine)
• Experience leading teams in long-term care or skilled nursing
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and quality standards
• Proven ability to drive high-quality patient care and staff performance

Responsibilities

• Develops departmental goals aligned with organizational strategy.
• Directs operations including performance management and staff satisfaction.
• Oversees scheduling, payroll, and student engagement.
• Monitors budgets, regulatory compliance, and vendor relations.
• Manages procurement of systems/equipment and supplies.
