Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager (RN) for Preadmission/Prep to lead a skilled team and advance safe, family-centered care. This role reports to the Nursing Director and focuses on clinical excellence, staff engagement, and operational performance.

You will mentor nurses, collaborate with physicians and inter-disciplinary staff, oversee staffing and quality initiatives, and champion evidence-based practice in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Requires current Maine RN license.
• Professional leadership experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong interpersonal and management skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Ability to teach and mentor staff.
• Well-organized with strong time management and delegation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Preadmission/Prep unit and ensure safe, patient- and family-centered care.
