Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare West in Houston, TX, is hiring a Manager of Labor and Delivery to lead nursing operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across the unit.

You will oversee staffing, budgets and staff development, leveraging mentorship opportunities, clinical education courses, and professional certification support to advance your career within the HCA network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical practice with leadership and management experience.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BCLS certification and Medication Learning Module.
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS, TX Room, PACU, ICU, HS, L&D, OR credentials.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation within 6 months of employment start date.
• RN licensure and BSN degree required.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and estimate future department needs to improve quality of patient care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What qualifications you will need

• Current RN license in Texas
• BCLS certified, Medication Learning Module
• NRP certification within six (6) months of hire
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification within six (6) months of hire
• ACLS, TX Room, PACU, ICU, HS, L & D, OR
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical practice with emphasis on leadership and management experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree, BSNS required
