MacNeal Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for telemetry with a BSN and Illinois RN license. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient safety, and professional development across a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• 3-5 years of previous RN experience; 5-7 years of previous RN experience preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Illinois.
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
• Other: Specialty certification in a clinical or functional area of nursing granted by a national nursing organization is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operationalize the organization's mission and participate in department goals.
• Ensure staff knowledge and participation in quality improvement activities, including Joint Commission core measures, National Patient Safety Goals and NDNQI.
• Participate in bi-annual review of unit policies to ensure regulatory compliance and evidence-based practice.
• Communicate nursing standards and participate in unit quality indicators and evidence-based projects.
• Lead/participate in quality and safety initiatives to improve patient care outcomes.
