Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• 3-5 years of RN experience; 5-7 years preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Illinois.
• CPR certification required.
• Specialty certification in a clinical area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize the unit's mission and goals.
• Develop and evaluate annual department goals aligned with mission and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and safety initiatives.
• Review unit policies to ensure regulatory compliance and evidence-based practice.
• Lead or participate in quality and safety indicator evaluation.
• Establish unit-based evidence-based projects and research.
• Utilize safety communication systems and drive improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate improvements in patient care quality and safety.
