RN Manager, Intermediate / Progressive Care Unit – Pathway to Excellence Designated Non-Profit Community Hospital - West Virginia
Join our 150+ bed, non-profit community hospital as a Nurse Manager, Intermediate / Progressive Care Unit! Lead a 36-bed unit with a team of 40+ nursing professionals in a Pathway to Excellence designated hospital. About the Hospital:
Non-profit, Joint Commission and Chest Pain Center accredited growing community hospital that has served its community for over 50 years
Pathway to Excellence designated, also home to many Centers of Excellence
Part of a large regional healthcare system, offering incredible growth opportunities
The Role:
Oversee patients from CCU, ICU, and a wide variety of medical conditions (NSTEMIs, GI bleeds, cancers, etc.)
Manage a unit that is almost always at or near capacity, ensuring smooth operations
Address night shift staffing needs, currently staffed mainly by travelers, and work to attract and retain staff
Work with Clinical Coordinators on both day and night shifts and collaborate on improving patient care
Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and staff engagement
Address staffing needs, especially for the night shift, and attract top talent
Requirements:
Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
3+ years’ clinical nursing experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Cardiac ICU, Coronary Care, or Progressive Care inpatient settings
Strong leadership skills - should be a collaborative and inspirational leader who RN's gravitate toward and want to follow
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: Up to $120,000 annually, based on experience
Relocation assistance and a potential sign-on bonus available
