Job summary

Compass Surgical Partners in Henrico, VA seeks an experienced nurse leader to oversee Pre-Operative, Operating Room and PACU services at a planned ambulatory surgery center. This full-time role coordinates staffing, patient flow, and clinical standards to ensure safe perioperative care.

Hours are Monday through Friday with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements. You will report to the Center CEO, collaborate with leadership, and support staff development while advancing patient

Qualifications

• ASN nursing degree and license to practice in Virginia.
• Pre-op, OR, and PACU nursing experience.
• At least one year in a leadership role in ASC or hospital outpatient setting.
• Current Nursing License and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads Pre-Op, OR, and PACU staff, including scheduling and patient flow.
• Oversees perioperative care from preoperative through PACU.
• Ensures compliance with physician orders, policies, and safety standards.
• Manages staffing, supplies, equipment, and resources for efficiency.
• Participates in hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
