Clinical Nurse Manager, Mother-Baby Unit | Women's Health Leadership

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead our Mother-Baby Care Unit. In this role, you'll oversee a dedicated team providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns while driving clinical excellence and quality improvements in women's health services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor clinical staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in postpartum and newborn nursery environments
• Drive operational excellence through strategic planning, budget management, and resource optimization
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives specific to women's health and maternal care
• Foster collaborative relationships with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and community partners
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and nursing practice standards
• Oversee staff development, scheduling, and performance management
• Champion evidence-based practices and innovative care delivery models
• Manage departmental budget, resources, and strategic planning initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Texas or compact state
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• 5+ years of acute care nursing experience (or 2+ years with supervisory experience)
• Proven leadership experience in Mother-Baby or Labor & Delivery units
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Strong clinical and operational management skills
• Excellence in communication and team leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
• Additional certifications in maternal-child nursing
• Experience with quality improvement methodologies
