Job summary

Tenet Healthcare seeks a Nursing Manager who will provide leadership and support to the senior executive position (CNO) and oversee nursing and designated patient care services within the hospital. The role requires maintaining 24/7 responsibility for assigned areas and ensuring high quality, safe care while supporting the CNO.

Ideal candidates will hold an active RN license, demonstrate strong leadership and hospital operations capabilities, and serve as a role model for the nursing profession

Qualifications

• Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with hospital operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to the senior executive position (CNO) responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization.
• Assume 24/7 responsibility of manager's assigned areas.
• Assist in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a unit level.
• Be accountable to support the CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
