Select Specialty Hospital - Midtown Atlanta is seeking a Nurse Manager-Registered Nurse (RN) to lead designated nursing units on a 24-hour basis in a high-acuity setting. The role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and emphasizes compassionate care and clinical leadership across the unit.

The position is full-time nights with responsibilities for staffing, budget, and collaboration with medical teams. A BSN is preferred and ACLS/BLS certifications are required or pursued within specified

Qualifications

• Requires current RN licensure.
• 3+ years clinical practice with leadership emphasis.
• 1 year prior management experience.
• BLS certification by start date.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain efficient operation of designated nursing units on a 24-hour basis.
• Guide, plan and direct hospital activities with ongoing quality assessment.
• Coordinate nursing staff assignments to facilitate patient outcomes.
• Coordinate schedules for nursing staff in the area of responsibility.
• Assist with communication with medical staff and other departments.
• Participate in budget formulation and cost containment for areas of responsibility.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment and supplies.
• Assist in staff education and clinical development programs.
• Assume administrative responsibilities on the unit during designated shifts.
• Oversee nursing care quality and write staff evaluations at designated intervals.
