Qualifikationen

• RN licensure required.
• 3 years clinical practice with leadership emphasis.
• 1 year prior management experience.
• BLS certification by start date.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

• Guide, plan and direct hospital activities with ongoing assessment of quality and efficiency.
• Assess patient care needs and coordinate nursing staff assignments to meet outcomes.
• Coordinate schedules for nursing staff in the area of responsibility.
• Facilitate communication with medical staff and other departments.
• Participate in budget formulation and cost containment for areas of responsibility.
• Maintain effective utilization of manpower, equipment and supplies.
• Support staff education and clinical development programs.
• Manage administrative responsibilities on the unit during shifts.
• Supervise overall nursing care performance and provide written evaluations at intervals.
