Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Night shift. The role requires a BSN and active RN licensure in Georgia (or via the eNLC). You will oversee daily operations, patient flow, staffing, and clinical care within a collaborative nursing leadership team.

Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience is required, with BLS, and PALS/PEARS within the specified timeframe. Leadership and development responsibilities are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years healthcare experience required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• RN license in GA or via Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment or start of shift if ED.
• PALS or PEARS certification within 1 year as required by department specifications.
• Professional Nursing certification deemed required after one year of hire.

• Supports environment for delivery of care.
• Acts as clinical resource for patient population in area.
• Maintains competence to provide and/or assist with clinical care.
• Participates in educational processes related to delivery of healthcare.
• Fosters professional development of self and others; supports nursing career advancement program.
• Leads shift in absence of manager; supports admission, transfer, and discharge processes for safe patient flow.
• Fosters collegial relationships and demonstrates fiscal responsibility in budget and resource use.
