Job summary

TriHealth seeks a Nurse Manager II to lead the MSICU/PCU at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH. The role oversees 24/7 critical care operations, mentors a large nursing staff, ensures high-quality patient outcomes, and collaborates with trauma and stroke program leaders to sustain clinical excellence.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, has progressive leadership experience, and demonstrates expert nursing practice, safety, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2-3 years progressive leadership experience in nursing in a related field is required.
• 2-3 years clinical nursing experience is required.
• Membership in a related professional organization is preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
• Other certification within specialty area is required within two years of assuming the position.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and improves quality and patient safety indicators and uses data to drive performance improvements.
• Supports Nursing Quality, Safety & Service Plan development and dissemination of evidence-based practices.
• Monitors retention and staff engagement; supports new graduate nurses and coordinates staffing; partners with HR for recruitment.
• Facilitates staff development and education; mentors staff and supports professional growth.
• Enhances unit communication; collaborates with physicians and other departments to meet organizational goals.
• Leads unit performance against budgets and service standards; ensures regulatory compliance and ethical practice.
