• Directs orientation of new hires, oversees preceptors, and supports staff in reporting abuse to protective services.
• Monitors narcotics and parenteral administration, assists staff in identifying medication errors.
• Oversees nursing care, mentors staff, and implements quality improvements for patient safety.
• Coordinates unit performance improvement activities and utilizes data to enhance care quality.
• Conducts staff evaluations and addresses performance issues within established processes.
• Ensures timely initial assessments for new patients, including psychosocial needs.
