Responsibilities

• Supports reporting of abuse to Child/Adult Protective Services where applicable.
• Evaluates staff ability to administer narcotics and parenterals; addresses medication errors.
• Coordinates unit-level performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Conducts staff evaluations and follows up on performance issues.
• Ensures initial patient assessments cover psychosocial and emotional needs within established times.
