Pennock Hospital, part of Corewell Health, seeks a Nurse Manager for the Women Infant Svcs Unit OB Delivery Postpartum at Pennock Hosp in Hastings. The role oversees daily operations, staff, and patient care quality in a busy maternity service.

Required: a Bachelor’s in nursing, RN licensure in MI, BLS, and 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year of leadership; NRP within 6 months. Day shift, 40 hours weekly with on‑site responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
Master’s degree in nursing is preferred.
2 years of relevant clinical nursing experience is required.
1 year of relevant leadership experience required for internal applicants (e.g., Charge Lead Nurse, etc.).
MI Registered Nurse license is required.
AHA/ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within six months.

Responsibilities

Assumes 24-hour accountability for managing and coordinating the nursing services unit.
Develop policies, procedures, and processes with other leaders to ensure high‑quality care.
Promote a healthy work environment that supports retention and diversity.
Lead unit-based goal setting, program development, and fiscal management.
Ensure standards of care and interprofessional collaboration are maintained.
