Trinity Health seeks a Nurse Manager to provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care community and to supervise shift staff. The role requires leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards while maintaining high quality of care.

You will direct day-to-day nursing functions, coordinate with resident services, participate in quality assurance, and manage admissions, transfers, and discharges. CPR certified RN with supervisory experience is preferred.

Competenze

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
• Must possess and maintain current RN license in this state.
• Must possess and maintain current CPR Certification.
• Long-term care or geriatric experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, professionalism, and communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills to drive collaboration; analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Must be able to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, policies and procedures.

Mansioni

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing personnel assigned to you in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Cooperate with other resident services for coordinated nursing care.
• Participate in development, maintenance, and implementation of the community's quality assurance program.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as necessary.
• Complete and file required record keeping forms when residents are admitted, transferred, or discharged.
• Perform routine charting duties per policies and procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician; observe the 5 rights of medication administration.
• Review medication administration and MARs for accuracy and adherence to stop orders.
• Make daily rounds to ensure nursing staff perform per acceptable standards.
