Job summary

The Rehabilitation & Nursing Center at Everett is seeking an experienced nursing supervisor/manager to lead daily patient care and staff performance in Everett, MA. The role requires an active MA RN license, IV cert, and clinical leadership with geriatrics experience.

The candidate will plan shift meetings, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with nursing policies while coordinating with other resident services to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and licensed to practice nursing in MA.
• Current MA RN license and registration in good standing.
• Peripheral IV certification is required.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One year in a management role is preferred.
• One year experience in geriatrics/subacute care is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• English language ability required; additional languages are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily delivery of nursing care and staff performance.
• Plan and conduct shift staff meetings to improve services.
• Identify problems in nursing care and implement corrective actions.
• Provide written/oral reports to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Begin investigation of accidents with staff interviews and data gathering.
• Interpret policies to personnel, residents, visitors, and agencies as required.
• Develop work assignments and delegate responsibilities to Charge Nurses.
• Make rounds at the start and end of shifts to assess unit activity.
• Follow up on complaints and take corrective action as needed.
