North Shore Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to deliver advanced nursing care in the Emergency Department. The role ensures smooth unit operations, supervises staff, and collaborates with medical teams to maintain high-quality patient care.

The position requires RN licensure in Florida, BSN preferred, and management experience. Must meet regulatory standards and may work beyond regular shifts; compensation is hourly with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing educational program, BSN preferred.
• Minimum two years as a staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Basic Computer Skills
• Management experience preferred
• Registered Nurse-licensed in the state of Florida.
• ACLS and BLS
• 2 to 5 years clinical experience
• Previous Assistant Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers advanced professional and technical nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborates with the medical staff and other disciplines to facilitate patient care.
• Supervises and instructs the department's nursing personnel for assigned shifts.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, AHCA and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Is responsible for planning and executing the educational needs of the department.
• Has authority to transfer, suspend, terminate or discipline other employees.
