Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited college/university with an active RN or BSN license.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal), listening, and team building abilities essential.
• LPNs considered if they have equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate approximately 10-12 Medical Assistants (MA).
• Implement nursing policies and procedures to meet Sea Mar’s standards.
• Perform monthly audits and demonstrate knowledge of health center regulations.
• Focus on quality measures, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use standards.
• Provide annual MA trainings.
• Lead hiring efforts for MAs and participate in hiring of other support staff.
• Maintain a patient care system of nurse only visits.
