Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year charge nurse or leadership experience as an RN required.
• 2+ years nursing experience in acute care required.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy, adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patients to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor nursing staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct appraisals.
• Mentor and precept new staff, supporting professional development.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and analyze data for patient care.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
