Job summary

Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager Inpatient Rehab to lead daily operations of the unit, ensure high-quality patient care, and optimize staffing and resources in Las Vegas, Nevada.

You will oversee nursing practice, collaborate across disciplines, manage budget and throughput, and foster an exceptional patient experience aligned with HCA Healthcare standards. RN with BLS and current NV license required; Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ years applicable experience required.
• Active RN license in state of practice (or compact license).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the unit/department daily function and staffing.
• Manage nursing practice and unit operations per policies to meet patient and family needs.
• Provide leadership to attain an exceptional patient experience and accountability for positive interactions.
• Manage staff scheduling and maintain staffing per patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Control operating expenses and identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve savings.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and assign staff with appropriate clinical competencies.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department

• You will manage nursing practice and unit operations, and monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures to ensure patient and family needs are assessed and met

• You will provide leadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patient experience, and instill accountability for providing consistent, positive patient interactions that differentiate the organization as a healthcare leader

• You will manage staff scheduling and maintain staffing in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines

• You will manage operating expenses, including the utilization of supplies and equipment; and identify cost reduction opportunities and implements actions to achieve savings

• You will facilitate effective interdisciplinary care coordination within and across departments and ensure staff with appropriate clinical competencies are assigned to meet patient care needs

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

• 1+ years applicable experience required

• Currently license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
