Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a senior nurse leader to drive patient care delivery across ambulatory services and two or more specialty areas. You will mentor teams, align with physicians and health system leaders, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires at least 4 years of leadership experience, an RN license in California, and a strong focus on quality improvement, safety, and accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Minimum three (3) years in customer or member/patient service.
• Bachelor's degree in a business, nursing, health care, or directly related field OR eight years of related experience.
• Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead developmental opportunities, coach for performance, and drive growth across teams.
• Translate business plans into actionable items and manage resources and budgets.
• Oversee ambulatory operations, ensure compliance, and drive performance targets.
• Develop partnerships with physicians and subject matter experts to standardize care delivery.
• Lead long-term strategic projects to improve quality, service, and efficiency.
