Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a Float Pool Nurse Manager to lead the growth and development of the Float Pool program. This role oversees recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and retention for float pool teammates, as well as operations for the PSA program and IV Team.

The Nurse Manager plans, coordinates, and evaluates clinical and operational functions to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care. The ideal candidate will have RN licensure, a BSN with MSN preferred, and management

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• MSN preferred; MSN completion within 5 years if enrolled.
• Enrollment in MSN within 1 year of hire; graduation within 5 years.
• If BSN, Master’s in health-related field or MBA acceptable.
• Previous management experience preferred; BLS per policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Float Pool program, PSA program, and IV Team operations.
• Recruit, onboard, schedule, and retain float pool teammates.
• Oversee budgets and cost-effective unit operations.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Provide staff education, credentialing, and professional development.
• Promote safe environment and professional practice across units.
