Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a Float Pool Nurse Manager to lead the growth and development of the Float Pool program. This role oversees recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and retention for float pool teammates, as well as operations for the PSA program and IV Team.

The Nurse Manager plans, coordinates, and evaluates clinical and operational functions to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care delivered by a skilled team.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (current) in appropriate state.
• MSN degree preferred; enrollment in MSN program within 1 year of hire.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN acceptable with master's in health-related field if not MSN.

Responsibilities

• Lead float pool program recruitment, onboarding, scheduling and retention.
• Oversee PSA program and IV Team operations and clinical/operational functions.
• Promote safety, professional development and compliance with Nursing Practice Act and standards.
• Allocate resources and monitor budgeting for a cost-effective unit.
