Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks an experienced Nurse Manager to lead the Float Pool and Centralized Staffing Operations. This role drives clinical and operational oversight, staffing strategy, and workforce optimization across the hospital.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in CT (active) is required.
• BNs or BSN degree required.
• 3+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical leadership for float pool and centralized staffing.
• Recruit, onboard, retain, and develop float pool staff.
• Expand float pool utilization across inpatient and specialty areas.
• Oversee scheduling to ensure safe, equitable staffing and cost effectiveness.
• Monitor staffing plans, acuity, census, and productivity to optimize deployment.
