Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Lexington Endoscopy suite opening in June 2027. You will lead the new team, interview and hire staff, partner with BIDMC Endoscopy for training, and establish competencies to ensure a smooth opening.

As a nursing leader, you will coordinate patient care, triage clinical processes, and liaison across departments under the Nursing Director's direction. This role emphasizes quality, safety, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; Master’s in Nursing preferred.
• RN licensure/Basic Life Support certification required.
• 3–5 years of related experience and 0–1 year supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage complex nursing operations.
• Proficient with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Endoscopy department, manage volume and acuity.
• Provide clinical consultation to nurses and staff as needed.
• Communicate changes in nursing practice and competency development.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless care progression.
• Oversee hiring, annual reviews, scheduling, payroll, and performance issues.
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives and faculty activities.
