Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston is opening a new Lexington Endoscopy suite and seeking a Unit Based Educator to coordinate training and onboarding of new staff prior to the clinic’s opening. The UBE will help establish competencies and workflows for the location and assist with setup for the opening.

This full-time role requires RN licensure, a nursing degree, and 1–3 years related experience, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years related work experience required.
• License Registered Nurse required.
• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and families while applying the nursing process.
• Coordinates training and onboarding of new staff for the Lexington Endoscopy suite.
• Establishes competencies and workflows/protocols for the new location.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and professional development.
