Qualifications

• Five years experience in the clinical area relevant to unit/service patient population, including proven experience/expertise in management area.
• Must have good hearing and vision abilities.
• Demonstrates ability to provide quality patient care and assess patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned nursing unit(s)/service(s) and assumes 24-hour responsibility for patient care activities, unit operation and staff function.
• Ensures delivery of quality nursing/patient care in line with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrates leadership, prioritization and delegation to support safe, cost-effective care.
