Job summary

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) seeks a Nurse Manager at the Indianapolis treatment facility to lead the nursing team, supervise staff, and drive quality patient care. You will design and deliver trainings, conduct chart audits, and partner with leadership to implement initiatives to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current/Active State Licensure as registered nurse strongly required.
• At least two years of experience in behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment preferred.
• Current CPR or BLS certification preferred (or must complete during orientation period).
• Experience in Motivational Interviewing, Clinical Supervision, CBT, DBT, ASAM, trauma-informed care or treatment planning; strong EMR knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to be flexible in adjusting to new and changing situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products preferred.
• CARN certification preferred where applicable.
• Competency in performing CLIA waived testing.
• Proficiency in screening/assessing for suicide ideation and aggression.
• Ability to safely administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff supervision, mentorship, and evaluation of nursing staff.
• Ensure high quality clinical outcomes through electronic monitoring and supervision.
• Train staff on job functions, clinical activities, operational procedures, and use of technology.
• Identify ongoing training needs and develop a workflow to meet them within budget.
• Collaborate with Nursing Director to implement initiatives and keep policies updated.
• Disseminate updated emergency response, infection control, and training plans.
• Ensure nursing staff complete required electronic seminars.
• Interact with patients, families, and clinical teams to promote recovery-oriented care.
• Maintain standards of care and compliance with accrediting bodies.
• Attend to scheduling and payroll within department.
