Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Manager of Case Management in Chattanooga, TN. Lead hospital-based case management, coordinate care, and supervise the CM team to optimize patient outcomes and resource use.

You will partner with physicians, nurses, and the care team to ensure timely, appropriate care, monitor documentation quality, and drive performance improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Tennessee or compact state.
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• 2 years of related leadership experience preferred.
• InterQual experience preferred.
• Certification in Case Management preferred.
• Certification in InterQual or IQCI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff.
• Supervise staff and manage day-to-day department tasks.
• Ensure competency in InterQual to progress care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for timely decisions.
• Monitor quality of CM interactions and documentation.
• Perform staff scheduling and department education.
• Lead clinical performance improvement activities.
• Complete regular reports to the Director.
