Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Cardiac and Vascular Surgery Progressive Care Unit (Ross) to lead a team of nursing professionals on a 24-hour basis. The role focuses on coordinating patient care, achieving positive outcomes, and aligning unit goals with the Medical Center's mission.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, an MSN preferred, and an Ohio RN license, with at least 3 years of RN clinical experience and 2 years in management.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum 3 years RN clinical experience and 2 years management experience.
• Certification in nursing administration or related area required within 18 months.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees plans, organizes, manages and evaluates patient care operations for a designated area on a 24-hour basis as needed.
• Plans and develops strategic short, mid- and long-term goals to improve unit operations.
• Manages, coaches, and evaluates the work performance of patient care staff in a designated area.
• Promotes collaboration with other care departments and manages unit budget plans.
